For safety
purposes, ensure the
electrical supply to the turntable is switched off.
Please ensure your turntable is
placed on a level and robust surface before starting this procedure.
Place the spirit level on the
surface of the tonearm board. The sub-chassis will be level when the
bubble is in the centre of the spirit level. |
It is best practice to start by
adjusting the side that the spirit level shows to be the highest, and
turn the adjusting screw to lower the sub-chassis at this point. This is
to avoid jamming the sub-chassis on the 'T' Frame channel.
If there is no movement when
turning the adjusting screw then damage may have occurred previously to
the adjustment mechanism. If this is the case then we suggest the
turntable is sent to us for repair. Assuming there is movement, then
proceed with levelling the sub-chassis. |
|
Adjusting the sub-chassis with
the RH adjustment screw (same side as the tonearm). Turning this level
adjusting screw clockwise will lower the RH side of the sub-chassis. |
|
Adjusting the sub-chassis with
the LH adjustment screw. Turning this level adjusting screw clockwise
will lower the LH side of sub-chassis. |
|
Adjusting the sub-chassis with
the REAR adjustment screw. Turning this level adjusting screw
anti-clockwise will lower the rear of the sub-chassis. |
